Founded in 2023 by lead floral designer and photographer, Jamie Weekley Blaney, out of a passion for more out of life. More love, more beauty and more fulfillment in the day to day. Captured Blossoms offers both Floral Design for events and local delivery, and 35mm film photography for events & all of life moments.
The studio is a place for creative souls to collaborate and create gorgeous floral designs, super fun styled photoshoots, and memories along the way. Captured Blossoms is for lovers and friends—for the nostalgic romanticizers, for the ones who want to make life’s moments (big and small) special.

Captured Blossoms specializes in both floral design and film photography. You can hire CB for both services or just one. Depending on your vision and budget, we can build the perfect package for you. When a client hires Captured Blossoms for both services, it makes way for an easeful experience and cohesive vision. Through florals, Jamie is able to create a thoughtful ambiance and then step behind the camera to document as the moments unfold. Separately or together, each project is just as bespoke as the one before.

Captured Blossoms thrives on creating art that is unique and entirely personalized. Jamie prioritizes getting to know a person, brand, or couple and find ways to highlight their unique personality and story through floral design and film photography. Her work is timeless, whimsical, and expressive. Jamie’s floral design style puts a whimsical touch on a classic approach, emphasizing interesting texture and seamless color palettes. Growing up I was always surrounded by flowers from my mom’s garden and taking photos of anything that would stand still, but the purpose of that wasn’t always as clear as it is now. After years of school & corporate 9-5 work, I thought I would have it all figured out, but it turns out that creativity was what I needed all along. A hobby turned into a business, I thought maybe this whole “making bouquets for friends and taking film photos at their weddings” can be more than just a wedding present, so I filed an LLC.
Captured Blossoms is a passion project, built out of love and desire for just a bit more in life.
I thrive on connection and love to geek out with other creative people. As a 2024 bride, I know how seriously some of these little decisions can feel (napkin colors will be the death of me), so I treat every wedding like it is my own! I was born and raised in Minnesota and I’d like to think it shows! Kindness and empathy are behind everything I do.
